Texas Game Warden Capitol Monument Project
The Game Warden Peace Officer’s Association has commissioned Pyrology Foundry in Bastrop, TX to sculpt the new Texas Game Warden Monument. The GWPOA has researched this project and spent many legislative hours throughout the years working on this project to make sure that Texas Game Wardens were represented at the State Capitol in Austin, TX. The new monument will be situated opposite the Sam Houston Building on the State Capitol grounds. Having the monument on the State Capitol grounds gives the opportunity for many to honor and remember the Texas Game Wardens who gave all. The names etched in the granite of the monument will never be forgotten. Honor, Integrity, Service, that is the fiber of Texas Game Wardens and this monument will be a reminder to all those who visit.
